My Dear Friends,

 

I got a call a few weeks ago from Jackson Senyonga's Administrative Assistant (Jackson Senyonga was featured on the Transformational II Video and was here, in Charleston, at the Transformational II Premiere Conference in 2001). The purpose of the call was an invitation to plan a "Premiere Celebrative Event" for Pastor Jackson's Bible Believers Convention in Uganda, Africa. This event's purpose is to Celebrate, their unity as a testimony, the benefits of Redemtion, Transformational Revival in the Nation and to release ...

 

I explained at the time of the call that "I don't do oceans." As you know Ron and Amber are the globe trotters. "I don't do oceans."

 

After speaking to Jackson several times on the phone both in Uganda and in the States and with the encouragement of Pastor Aaron Mutebe I agreed to this God-size task.

 

Pastor Jackson explained what he had in mind... a five (5) stadium event with the Premiere Celebrative Event being simulcast from the National Soccer Stadium in Kampala, the Capital City of Uganda, to four (4) smaller stadiums.  He suggested it be on the scale of the Olympics Opening Ceremonies. The projected attendance would be 500,000+.  He desired one thousand (1,000) core dancers to be trained. And a planned ten thousand (10,000) voice choir. He hoped for a large Globe of the World to be displayed as a touch point for the purposes of releasing fervent corporate prayer for the nations of the earth for global harvest.  He said many nations would come and the President and the First Lady of Uganda had been invited.

 

I immediately contacted Theresa Gregory from Mt Vernon, Ohio who so graciously lead the prophetic dancers at the Transformation II Premiere Conference in Charleston and our daughter Amber, as a production manager and guide to Africa. Both agreed and was enthused, knowing, even waiting on this divine appointment.

 

To do this I needed to hear the heart of God for this Historic Event. One night two weeks ago I laid down to sleep when suddenly the plan erupted in my spirit. - "Worship"  - to follow the pattern of worship given to John in the Revelation... a glimpse of Heavenly Worship on the Earth. I got a pen and paper and opened my bible to Revelation and quickly the ideas began to consume me.  I saw a Parade of Nations, every nation, tribe and tongue marching majestically into the stadium. They had banners of their nation and banners of their allegiance to the one True, Living God. I saw tambourines and dancers in joy leading the way until every nation was in it's place of worship. 

 

Brief Overview

As I continued to read through the Revelation Heavenly Worship Experience. I knew this scene had to be expressed.  The arena is darkened.  Revelation 4 "...from the throne proceed flashes of lightning and sounds and peals of thunder..." I saw drums and drummers, lots of drummers prophetically simulating the "Thunderings' of worship and a Laser Lights flashing from every side of the stadium simulating the "Lightnings".  The sound of Trumpets, calling the Presence of the Lord. I imagined every musical instrument and thousands upon thousands of voices making a great electric sound of adoration throughout the stadium. Revelation 5:8 "...twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, having each one a harp (worship) and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints".  I saw Dancers in gold forming the "Golden Bowls" of Revelation 5:8 and 8:5 holding the prayers of the saints. 8:4 "... and the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, went up before God out of the Angel's hand. I saw Smoke - Incense- rising from the golden bowls... " 8:5 "... and the angel took the bowl; and he filled it with the fire of the altar and threw it to the earth; There were Dancers dressed in reds, yellows and orange as fire, then being thrust out of the golden bowls into every nation of the earth "... and there followed peals of thunder and sounds and flashes of lightning... " Revelation 4:8 "...Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God, The Almighty, who was and who is and who is to come..." The 10,000 voice choir crying out in "Antiphonal Singings "Holy Holy Holy is the Lord, His mercy endures forever,"  Worship lifted up all over the stadium in song until there is a loud roar of praise, worship and adoration to our King. Revelation 7:9 "... after these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude, which no one could count, from every nation and all tribes, and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb..." clothed in white robes and branches were in their hands; and they cry out with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb..." Around the stadium the nations bow down.  Ending with a globe of the world appearing (possibly as a holograph) in the center of the stadium.  Thousands raise their voices in prayer for the nations of the earth. Then a celebration of the greatness of our God to save with "Heavenly Fireworks"  Worship, Wild Dancing and Sending. Revelation 10:11 "... and they said to me, You must go back and prophesy over many peoples and nations and tongues and kings..."

 

 

 

I need your help in this task. (see below) Many of you have gifts, talents, and abilities that have been crafted in you for this very time. God may cause you to "do oceans" not just once but many times.

 

I have a whole new concept of what it means to be faithful in the small things and God will give you rule over the large.  We have not understood how large God's large is... then He Super-sizes it.

PROJECT: CELEBRATE UGANDA

... the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. And they sang a new song.. Revelation 5:8

The trumpeters and singers joined in unison, as with one voice, to give praise and thanks to the Lord. Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals and other instruments, they raised their voices in praise to the Lord and sang. "He is good; his love endures forever. " Then the temple of the Lord was filled with a cloud, and the priests could not perform their service because of the cloud, for the glory of the Lord filled the temple of God. II Chron. 5:13,14   

 ...if your presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here. How will anyone know that you are pleased with me and with your people unless you go with us? What else will distinguish me and your people from all the other people on the face of the earth? Exodus 33:15,16

The Challenge- Our Gift to Uganda

Many of you have expressed a desire to be a part of one of the most strategic and the largest meeting of the Bible Believers Convention (BBC) 2004. The Challenge is great. I envision several levels of participation. There will be volunteer teams in the States particularly West Virginia and Ohio who will do prep work and then there will be volunteer teams that will go to Uganda for on-site work. The first team will leave June 9 -July 10. The team will consist of myself – Event Planner and Event Overseer, Amber Thaxton – Production, and Theresa Gregory – Chief Dance Coordinator.  This will be a fact finding trip and to set up strategic teams in Uganda plus the pre-convention training sessions mentioned above. A second (States) team will join us in our second week.  We will be returning to Uganda in September for a second month up to the time of the Convention. Further US teams will join the teams in Uganda the end of September and the first of October.

This accomplishes the second thing I envision… that is to put the teams in the States with the teams in Uganda together that they may learn of one another, partner and work together on this incredible PROJECT

These are the gifts/talents/jobs that are needed: Stage Managers...Tech field / design lighting (laser lights) /sound / smoke … Television Tech – producers, directors, videographer… Costume design… Banner design…  Seamstress… Skilled musicians… Skilled voice… Shofars… Choir leader (filled)… Strong team crew captains –able to take instruction and lead large groups to completion of task…Crew – hard worker, flexible, reliable, people person… dancers …Field prep – chalk off stadium for dancers, lighting and smoke containers… Construction - building stage and ramps… props… more to come
