4th wall

 Youth Reaching Youth
Saturday, May 15, 6:30 PM
Cabell Midland High School in Ona, WV.
(Between Milton and Barboursville.)

If you are not familiar with 4th Wall, we could give you a 10 word answer as a description.  But a million words are not enough to capture the power of God's hand.  We truly experience God at work in mighty ways.  He shows up every show, and lives are changed.   Hearts are mended, wounds are healed, and, by His grace, souls are redeemed!

We have a team of 30 youth from at least 13 churches and a dozen denominations, and many adult servants from diverse backgrounds.  The professionally-presented show is 90-minutes of dance, drama, music and film telling the redemption story in a way that calls to even hardened hearts.

As our website says, "the show addresses real life issues that tear at the souls of the young people in our society, including drugs, crime, sex, abortion, domestic abuse, and abandonment. 4th Wall gives a glimpse into the incredible redemptive love offered us all -- no matter where we've been, no matter what we've done, no matter what's been done to us, He still loves us and offers us forgiveness and hope."

Please plan to bring your youth groups and church leadership, family and friends.  Since the show is in a secular setting, it will be a non-threatening environment to bring folks who wouldn't dare darken the door of a church.   We have seen kids and guards on their knees at the foot of the cross together in juvenile detention centers.  The lost can be found!

We love every place we go, but our Home Show is always special to us.  It gives us a chance to give back to our local community, and for our local community to show their support for this ministry and the 4th Wall servants.

If you would like posters, postcard invitations, or other PR materials please contact the office at (304) 419-4446.

The Model

A Boiler Room is, very simply, a praying community.

Boiler Room

In the great days of steam, Boiler Rooms were a familiar concept all round the world. Boiler Rooms powered everything from vast machines in factories to household heating systems. A Boiler Room was a powerhouse, a driving force, a place of pressure and creative energy.
From the furnace came power.

A Boiler Room was functional, dirty and hot; often tucked away in the basement. It wasn't a comfortable setting for entertaining or relaxing. It was a place of essential work.

These are great pictures to describe the role of a prayer house in a community. As we stoke the fires of intercession, prayer-power is released to energize God's purposes in the surrounding community. Another analogy could be a heart, pumping blood around the body. There is a vital job to be done.

C.H. Spurgeon, the greatest preacher of the late 19th Century, attributed the fruitfulness of his entire ministry to his 'Boiler Rooms'. These were prayer rooms - often in the basement of whatever building he was speaking in - where people would intercede as Spurgeon preached. He described these Boiler Rooms as the very power-source of his ministry.

The Young Radicals of our City and State will release and  energize the purposes of God in the basement of the Civic Center on behalf the 13,000 men of PROMISE KEEPERS on July 9th and 10th of July.
